General Tips Before You Start

  • Clean the area: If possible, wipe down dirty surfaces to make damage more visible.

  • Lighting: Natural daylight is best. Avoid shadows and glare. Don’t shoot directly into the sun or strong backlighting.

  • Camera: Use a smartphone or digital camera with good resolution (8MP+). Make sure the lens is clean.

  • Take multiple angles: Better to take a few extra shots than miss something.
